Supplier Identification

These policies govern the provision of services by Diogo Alexandre Faustino, holder of tax identification number 251010139, a maritime-tourism operator registered under RNAAT License No. 769/2025, insured by Mútua dos Pescadores (hereinafter referred to as the “Supplier”). The Supplier organises and manages private maritime-tourism activities, namely boat tours for couples, with the possibility of using additional aquatic equipment. Purpose and Scope

These policies apply to all activities organised by the Supplier, including but not limited to:

Private boat tours
Use of additional aquatic equipment (kayak, stand up paddle board, snorkelling gear, among others)
Provision of snacks, bottled water, and sealed beverages

Participation in any activity implies full reading, understanding, and acceptance of these terms and conditions.

Bookings, Payments, and Confirmation

Reservations must be made through the Supplier’s official channels (website, partner platforms, phone, or email). A reservation is only considered confirmed after full payment, unless otherwise agreed in writing. Payment may be made by bank transfer, credit/debit card, or other methods made available. The Supplier reserves the right to cancel a reservation if payment is not received within the specified timeframe.

Cancellation and Amendment Policy

The Client may cancel the booking at least 48 hours in advance and will receive a full refund. Cancellations made between 24 and 48 hours before the activity entitle the Client to a 50% refund. Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the activity, or in case of no-show, are non-refundable. The Supplier reserves the right to postpone or cancel the activity due to:

Adverse weather conditions
Technical issues with the vessel or equipment
Maritime safety reasons
Justified operational unavailability

In such cases, the Client may choose to reschedule or receive a full refund.

Participation Conditions

The Client must arrive at the boarding location at least 15 minutes before the scheduled departure time. The Supplier may refuse participation to any person under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or who poses a risk to themselves or others. The minimum participation age is 6 years old, unless expressly authorised by the Supplier. Minors must be accompanied by a responsible adult. Wearing a life jacket is mandatory throughout the entire activity.

Provision of Snacks and Beverages

The Supplier provides complimentary light snacks and bottled water during the activity. The Client may purchase additional beverages, including wine, sparkling wine, champagne, or spirits, which are always served in sealed containers. Alcohol consumption must be done responsibly. Abusive consumption or any behaviour that may compromise the safety of the vessel, crew, or third parties is strictly prohibited. The captain/skipper reserves the right to limit or stop the serving of alcoholic beverages if inappropriate behaviour or safety risks are observed. The Supplier shall not be held liable for any adverse effects resulting from alcohol consumption during the activity.

Use of Equipment

The equipment provided (kayak, stand up paddle board, snorkelling gear, etc.) is the property of the Supplier and must be used carefully and in accordance with the instructions of the captain/skipper or assistant. Any damage caused by improper, negligent, or unauthorised use will be charged to the Client, who may be held responsible for the full cost of repair or replacement. The Client agrees to return all equipment in the same condition as it was provided.

Safety Regulations

The Client agrees to follow all instructions given by the captain/skipper and crew, as well as the applicable maritime safety regulations. Diving, swimming in unauthorised areas, or climbing on restricted parts of the vessel is strictly prohibited. The captain/skipper is the highest authority on board and may alter or interrupt the route whenever deemed necessary for safety reasons.

Insurance and Liability

The Supplier holds valid civil liability and personal accident insurance, issued by Mútua dos Pescadores, covering the duration of the activity. Insurance coverage applies only when the Client complies with all safety rules and crew instructions. The Supplier shall not be held liable for:

Accidents resulting from negligence or failure to follow instructions
Damage, loss, or theft of personal belongings
Injuries or incidents occurring outside the scope of the activity

The Client declares to be in good physical and mental condition to participate in the activity.

Conduct and Good Practices

The Client must maintain respectful and appropriate behaviour towards the crew, other participants, and the marine environment. Any behaviour deemed dangerous, offensive, or disruptive may result in immediate termination of the activity without refund.

Personal Data and Image Use

The Supplier fully complies with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). The Client authorises, freely and knowingly, the capture of images and videos during the activity for promotional and marketing purposes, unless a written objection is submitted before the start of the activity.

Amendments to Policies

The Supplier may update these Service Policies whenever necessary. Updated versions will be made available through official communication channels.

Applicable Law and Jurisdiction

These Service Policies are governed by Portuguese law. Any disputes arising shall be submitted to the Court of Portimão, with express waiver of any other jurisdiction.

Declaration of Acceptance

By booking and/or participating in the activity, the Client declares that they have read, understood, and fully accepted these Service Policies and General Terms, and agree to comply with them in their entirety.

Sunset Tour

The Sunset Tour is a romantic and relaxing experience created for couples who want to enjoy the Algarve coast at the most beautiful time of the day. It combines the charm of a private boat trip with the magic of the setting sun over the Atlantic.

The journey begins at the Ferragudo pier, sailing calmly along the Arade River towards the ocean. Along the way, you will pass riverside beaches, fishing areas, marinas and the historic Castle of Ferragudo before reaching the open sea. From there, we follow the coastline past Praia da Rocha and Praia do Vau, heading towards the striking rock formations of João de Arens.

We anchor between the cliffs and crystal-clear waters so you can enjoy the sea at your own pace. There is time to swim, paddleboard, kayak, use our snorkeling gear or simply relax on deck, listening to music, sipping a glass of wine and watching the light soften over the horizon.

As the afternoon fades, we sail back to the mouth of the Arade River, where the boat rests gently on the water while the sun sets behind the cliffs. It is a calm and breathtaking moment, with the sky painted in warm shades of gold and pink.

The Custom Tour is an exclusive and private experience designed for couples who want complete freedom to create their perfect day at sea along the stunning Algarve coast. With an approximate duration of 6 hours and 30 minutes, this tour allows you to decide what to do and where to go, making every moment unique.

You may choose to sail to the famous Benagil Cave, explore the dramatic coastline near Carvoeiro, Lagoa, Portimão, Lagos or Alvor, or anchor at a secluded beach accessible only by boat, where you can enjoy the rare feeling of having an entire beach just for the two of you.

During the tour, there is plenty of time for activities such as swimming, snorkeling, kayaking, paddleboarding (SUP), or simply floating together on the water. You can relax under the sun, listen to music, share a glass of wine, and enjoy the calm and privacy of the ocean.

We can also raise the sails and head farther from the coast to feel the stronger ocean breeze and the freedom of open water. Your captain can share a few sailing lessons if you wish, turning the experience into a playful and interactive adventure.

The Amor Tour is a gentle and romantic escape created for couples who want to enjoy the beauty of the Algarve coast in a calm and private way. Departing from Ferragudo pier at 10:00 AM or 2:00 PM, it offers the perfect balance between relaxation, discovery and connection.

The journey begins along the Arade River, passing fishing villages, riverside beaches, marinas and the historic Castle of Ferragudo before reaching the ocean. From there, we sail towards the breathtaking rock formations of João de Arens, gliding past Praia da Rocha and Praia do Vau, where dolphins are sometimes seen playing near the bow.

We anchor between cliffs and turquoise waters for a moment to enjoy the sea. You can swim, paddleboard, kayak, use our snorkeling gear or simply float together under the sun, listening to music, sharing a glass of wine and taking in the scenery.

Throughout the experience, your guide reveals stories about the region, the shapes of the rocks and the marine life that inhabits these waters.

As the tour draws to a close, we turn back toward Ferragudo and raise the sails, letting the western wind carry us home. It is a quiet and beautiful part of the journey, where the captain may share a few simple sailing tips with those who wish to learn.
